About Westside Equipment

Founded in 1986 by six entrepreneurs, Westside Equipment started manufacturing machinery for the agriculture industry in 2001 and has grown from a small operation with four employees to a global leader in the tomato harvesting equipment. Westside Equipment is expanding to serve the commercial pistachio nut harvesting industry.

With our headquarters in Madera, California and our parts sales and support service operations in Crows Landing, Woodland, and Five Points, Westside Equipment is centrally located throughout California’s nut and tomato growing regions. Our Central Valley operations give us the proximity and reach to successfully cover the state’s entire processing nut and tomato production area.

Our harvesters and parts meet the design fit of international harvesting needs, and we serve customers located across the globe, including in Brazil, Peru, Spain, Israel, Australia, and China.

Westside Equipment Company will remain open during the COVID-19 crisis. Presidential Policy Directive 21 (PPD-21) designates the food and agriculture sector as a critical infrastructure sector whose assets, systems, and networks are considered so vital that their incapacitation or destruction would have a debilitating effect on security, national economic security, national public health, or safety. Considering this policy and other published guidance by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA), Westside Equipment is an essential business to the world’s food supply. We will continue to provide agricultural goods and services to farmers throughout Central California and across the world. Westside Equipment will do its part to keep the food supply chain active and strong during this time of global crisis.

Westside employees are exercising caution by maintaining social distancing in internal and external interactions. Employees are washing hands frequently. Internal sanitation practices are now expanded to combat the spread of COID-19.
